Website updates have been quiet for a few months – I’ve been busy with planning for some major projects for the autumn (to be announced shortly). But… the big one is that my debut album finally has a release date! Light of Shore will be available to pre-order on bandcamp from Monday 2nd August. Two singles will be released in advance of the album launch on 8th October 2021 when it will be available as a download, a physical double album, and for streaming on all major platforms. I’m delighted that the fantastic Cahal Masterson, who recorded my piano suite Ceaselessly into the Past for the album, will be premiering the pieces at a launch event in Belfast on the 8th October. This will be followed by a private Dublin launch at the Contemporary Music Centre, with a performance of Three Words for Light by the RTÉ NSO‘s lead cellist, Martin Johnson.
