About: Inspired by Jesus’ Blood Never Failed Me Yet by the experimental composer Gavin Bryars, this arrangement of Psalm 23 pits a verse from this well-known passage of Scripture against the modern, invasive soundscapes from a busy urban environment. The work focuses on the trials of life and how faith in God’s ‘goodness and mercy’ is what carries the believer through a sojourn on earth.
